Meet the owner
Chef Brian Ross has over 30 years of experience as a Chef and Culinary Instructor. A graduate of L'Academie de Cuisine, Chef Ross is well versed in all types of cooking and cuisines and is also an accomplished Baker and Pastry Chef.
He came to Asheville in 2001 to be the Chef at The Richmond Hill Inn, then spent many years as a Chef at the Biltmore Estate Bistro as well as the Inn on Biltmore.
He eventually opened DOUGH in 2013.
HIs early career included positions at two Ritz Carlton properties - Naples, FL and Washington, DC - as well as the Lodge at Sedona in Arizona, and The Bailiwick Inn in Virginia.
He was also the Head Culinary Instructor at L'Academie de Cuisine for 2 years.
Chef Ross is a dynamic instructor that will make sure you have fun in the kitchen as you learn!
