In this class, you’ll learn the techniques for making a beautifully flaky but tender pastry dough that we’ll turn into show stopping free-form tarts, also known as galettes. Galettes are the perfect canvas for seasonal produce and can satisfy any craving. Together, we’ll whip up two varieties to enjoy in class: a savory, ricotta, lemon, asparagus galette; and a just-sweet-enough strawberry rhubarb frangipane galette. You’ll leave with extra pastry dough and the know-how to make your own galette creations at home.
