Join us as we explore how to make a BABKA, the delectable sweet yeasted bread, typically braided and swirled with a rich chocolate or cinnamon filling. In this class, you’ll learn the basic techniques for making a soft, buttery brioche dough along with two classic babka fillings – chocolate and cinnamon. After learning different shaping methods, you’ll roll and braid your very own babka to bake in class. You’ll also leave with some extra dough and filling for making a second babka creation at home. During class, there will be plenty of babka for you to enjoy.

Are you ready to take your bagel-making skills to the next level? Join us for our Bagels Baking Class and unlock the secrets to creating amazing bagels at home! During this hands-on experience, Emily will guide you through every step of the bagel-making process, from mixing and fermenting the dough to rolling the bagels to boiling and baking. But that's not all! In addition to mastering the art of bagel-making, we'll be making indulgent whipped cream cheese spreads that will elevate your bagel creations to new heights including a savory Scallion Cream Cheese that adds a burst of freshness to each bite and a delightfully sweet and nutty Honey Pecan Cream Cheese.

Middle Eastern Brunch (Vegetarian) with Emily Sunday May 11th 10am - 1pm

Join us as we whip up a vibrant Middle Eastern brunch spread. To start, we’ll prepare a shakshuka, a one-pan vegetarian dish of eggs poached in a simmering, gently spiced tomato and pepper sauce that will pair beautifully with a fattoush salad tossed with a zesty sumac vinaigrette and warm, homemade pita bread. To finish things off on a sweet note, we’ll bake a basbousa, a moist semolina cake soaked in a rosewater simple syrup.
